Reiki - Usui, Feeling A Little Out-of-sorts Or In Need Of Deep Relaxation?

You need not be ill or suffering in any way to benefit from Reiki, you can have a treatment just for pleasure and very deep relaxation.

What is Reiki?

Pronounced (Ray-Key) and meaning "Universal Life Energy", Reiki is an ancient hands on method of energy (NOT spiritual) healing, since ancient times people have believed that this subtle energy force surrounds and flows through everything living, humans, animals, plants and trees.  

In China this energy is referred to as "Chi", in Indian as "Prana", and in Hawaii as "Mana", whilst in Japan it is called "Reiki". Due to the fact that there is no religious belief system attached to Reiki, anyone can benefit from Reiki or learn to be a practitioner.  The only prerequisite is the desire to be healed or as a practitioner, want to heal.

How does Reiki work? 

As a Reiki Master Lisa has been attuned to connect with the universe's limitless source of life energy and now has unlimited access to this life force energy.  When receiving Reiki the recipients clothed body will take on board the energy that passes from Lisa's hands, the energy goes where the body has imbalance, illness or  dis-ease activating the body's natural ability to heal itself.

By releasing blocked energy the body becomes cleansed of toxins and works to create a state of balance and relaxation on all levels; mind, body & spirit.  Reiki can help give clarity to otherwise un-answerable questions or even bring through appropriate questions for answering to help the recipient to make lifestyle changes and attitude changes to promote a happier and healthier life.

A Reiki treatment will last for 30 minutes. 

During your treatment.

Everything you need to fully relax and enjoy your treatment will be provide for by Lisa.  You will remain clothed, have your head supported with a pillow and offered a blanket. 

For hygiene reasons Lisa has a wash basin and soap for her hands and always wears an appropriate tunic and trousers, and disposable paper towel is used for each of you to lay on during your treatment.

HANDS-ON HELAING FOR YOUR PETS IS ALSO AVAILABLE

A pet Reiki treatment will last for 20 - 30 minutes.

For Hygiene reasons Lisa can not allow pets into the therapy room.  Your pets treatment will be carried out at his/her home, kennel or shelter, or if this is the cause of anxiety, in a place where it is most comfortable. An addition charge maybe required, this will depend on the distance travelled and over-all duration of the treatment.  Lisa can also be found performing Reiki on any needy animal at Redgate Farm Animal Sanctuary, where she volunteers every Saturday.

That's not to say that you or your pets need to be ill or suffering in any way to benefit from Reiki,  a treatment can be experienced just for pleasure and deep relaxation.
